Anyway, i don’t know why that’s so surprising. We don’t metabolize everything we put in our bodies (thank goodness), so we evacuate what’s left and it goes into the water cycle. Not to say it isn’t concerning, but i doubt there’s much we can do about it. Besides, there are plenty of other worse things coming out in the flush as well. Talk about hard water.

I must say this is an appropriate blog title considering what’s been happening in the news lately. Dave Matthews was dead on it when he recorded this song several years ago.

hahaha… i started singing the exact same thing when i heard the story on NPR for the first time. what’s even more sad – david thought i was crazy ’cause he’d never heard the song. d’oh.
